The Beginner's Guide to Obamaloney

Does anyone need a word to describe the ridiculous, outrageous, behavior of President Obama and his liberal supporters? How about Obamaloney.

In response to President Obama's namecalling this week (RomneyHood), candidate Mitt Romney slammed back, providing recognition of a telling truth that - surprisingly - is pure genius. Few of us had condensed the liberal tactics to a single word like this; the closest may had been Alinsky Tactics.

But Mitt may has created a household word. It could even survive over the years, much like SwiftBoating. Any time you hear a candidate spewing an outrageous, ridiculous comment, just call it what it is: Obamaloney.

Obamaloney

bam·a·lo·ney

1. Slang. A distortion, or lie, designed to distract from the truth.

2. Politics. A campaign ad, commercial, or political statement making a false claim, most often of an outrageous nature or charge. A form of negative politics. Example: Senator Reid never took an IQ test; the word is out.

3. Media. Journalism-backed liberal bias designed to highlight and circulate an obvious, false claim with the intent of diminishing or ignoring another claim of greater importance, most often done to assassinate the character of a Conservative running against a Liberal.

4. Humor. The Secret Service codename for President Obama's teleprompter.
So. What qualifies as Obamaloney, today? How about Harry Reid's unbelieveable statement. He claims that the "word is out" and Romney hasn't paid 10 years of his taxes. Reid's source? An anonmyous Bain employee, and yet he suggests that the burden of truth is Romney's to provide.

How about the latest "Romney Killed My Wife" ad, which blames the candidate for a woman's death in 2006, even though he left Bain in 1999. The advertisement centers on a Kansas City man whose plant closed in 2001, and practically accuses him of manslaughter. It doesn't seem to matter that the women actually had her own health care, either.

How about the attack that started it all? President Obama, citing an economic study, says that Romney's Tax Plan will cost middle-class families an average of $2000 a year. Does it matter that the report came from a liberal-backed supporter? Does it matter that it assumes lowering taxes lowers revenue when we've seen the exact opposite?

A month earlier, Democrats tried to suggest Romney was a felon. Does that qualify as Obamaloney? You bet it does.

In summary, and if you're just beginning to realize how big the implications are, the hashtag is #Obamaloney. Any time you see or hear a liberal using their typical lies, just call it what it is. Tweet it. Send it to Facebook. Use it in daily conversations. In all senses of the word, this applications are immortal.
