The "Science" of Global Warming...boils down to science.

I wrote this elsewhere, but felt it deserved some more attention.

Personally, I have no problem debating the "Global Warming" theory, because it's just a theory. It hasn't been proven. And here's the fundamental precepts I follow when I enter into an argument about it:

1. Just because people disagree with a "theory" -- and I do stress theory because man-made global "warming/cooling/climate change" is unproven -- does not mean they do not believe in science.

2. One of the first tenets of the Scientific Method is to try and disprove the hypothesis. I do not see this happening in the "man-made" crowd. This reminds me of the past...when a scientific community believed the universe revolved around the Earth.

3. It's really very simple: PROVE it. That's all science needs. Does anyone disagree that Einstein's Theory of Reletivity works? No; that's because we can prove it over and over. If you can prove the "Man-Made Fatality" theories, then go for it.

4. What I've seen, is an attempt from (mostly) liberals, to bowl over everyone else by "the mass of opinions". That's not going to fly. You'll need data, not opinion polls, to win a science argument.
