We Laughed and Played...and the world was on fire....

Isn't it ironic...

How troubled the world is while it's burning? The Japanese Earthquake, I mean, Tsunami...no, I mean Nuclear Meltdown!. And yet, everything's fine; if we were really in trouble, surely Obama wouldn't be golfing, or making appearances on ESPN to make his March Madness picks.

Then there's the Middle East unrest. Perhaps it's a decade-spanning revolution. What do you think, Obama? Is it worth taking a time out from your basketball playdates?

Then there's the Federal Budget; oh wait, Joe Biden has that all wrapped up. (Anyone seen Joe lately?)

Tragedy is the tool of the fear-monger. Rahm Emmanuel said "Never let a crisis go to waste"; that was their mentality during the 2008 election. And remember, when Obama got elected, we weren't going to have to worry about paying our utility bills, or staying in our homes, or the defecit, or how the world perceives us.

I guess there's no crisis anymore. Or maybe there never was one.
