At least, that's what President Obama wants us to think.
Were you a Democrat in the turn of the century, you would have cried "illegal war!" or "Bush lied, people died!" with his campaign to oust Saddam Hussein. After all, even though President Bush went to Congress and got an authorization to use force, and even though we have numerous Democrats and Republicans on record about Saddam's Weapon's of Mass Destruction, we had no right being there! Am I correct?
Actually, wasn't it, then Sen. Obama, who said "we have no business being in Iraq"? Well, what's his rationale now? What's our business being in Libya? The only thing I can think of is that Libya has lots of oil! (Are you going to start calling this Obama's War for Oil?)
And why isn't didn't he get a Congressional Declaration of War? If he's a Constitutional scholar, surely he must know the importance to having our country involved in the matter.
Hypocrisy at it's finest; I look forward to the multitude of "peace-loving" liberals, intent on defending President Obama's war on Libya while continuing to condemn President Bush.
